Well hello. It’s almost been a year since I posted my last little piece of right-wingism to do with sport. A lot has happened in a year including taking up painting (www.tartycreative.com), ended relationships, world cup wins, moving house, watching Jordan Speith at the Australian Open and so on….
I figured since it’s the beginning of footy season I should start up again – to the sound of groans – I promise I will try to be more positive. Oh fuck, who am I kidding, after Jerome Kaino got the red rag last week for fuck all we are in for another season of over-zealous twits prancing around trying to redefine the rule book in all shapes.
So, cricket has happened and Baz retired. I see the Aussie cricketers are bleating about the kiwi crowds being naughty. Rich. Pot.Kettle. Black. Glasshouse. Stones. Having said that they are a far better test team than us and deserve the accolades.
Who can wait for Rio?!?!? Yaaaayy! Olympics!!! Yay trash, unfinished stadia, human arms floating in the sewers, yay!!!!!
Anyway – I hope to post more and more and show you some of my art too should you be interested. Let’s hope the silly whistley buggers stay out of it and we get some real rugby.
