I’m having the time of my life at the moment. Cricket, rugby, basketball, golf, cricket, rugby, league and cricket and rugby.
I’ve been to two of the Black Caps’ games – the England massacre and the nail-biter v Australia. Fantastic.
Rugby has started, referees are worse than last year if possible, but it’s back.
The NRL started and the Warrior appear to be as schizophrenic as ever.
The Breakers won the NBL with, fittingly enough, a buzzer beater.
The golf is on and to be perfectly honest am not missing the ongoing side show called Tiger Woods. Jordan Speith won today, Jordan Zunic won the NZ Open yesterday. The both finished with magnificent shots.
My point is – I’m sorry for being distant lately. Just watching great sports.
