Is anyone else – from New Zealand – excited to see Quade Cooper back in the Wallabies? I am. Not for the reason most kiwis think though. I happen to think Quade is a magnificent player. I hate to see the man booed when he takes a kick. I hate to hear the crowd cheer when he cocks up. I hate to hear people go on when he gets in a shoving match with Sir Richie. You don’t honestly think Richie is a saint, do you?
I’m excited to see a great player play against my beloved All Blacks the way I was excited to David Campese play. Or Matt Burke. Or George Smith. Or Tim Horan.
Just because Quade is tattooed (aren’t they all?) and plays a little differently to others shouldn’t mean we have to disrespect him. I happen to like this tortured genius and hope, sincerely, he plays well against us on Saturday.
Well – not too well.

Talking shit, he would never have made the b team over here if we had one, most kiwis see native or Aussie born Australians confidence as arrogance but what cooper spouts out and does is pure arrogance from an ex kiwi trying to be an Aussie
