Could the New Zealand Election get any weirder? I’m sure weirder isn’t a word, well at least shouldn’t be. The country has suffered a sort of temporary psychosis where, temporarily, the brain acts as if there is nothing else going on. The news is all about it. There are debates, mud-slinging, spying, leaked emails,HACKED emails, books and morons like Kim Dotcom. I wonder if there is time to do all this, there should be time to run the country. Another thing that amused me about all this carry on is the Green/Mana/trendy lefties moaning no end about spying by the NSA and the GCSB. Yet, how exactly did recidivist dickhead, Nicky Hager, get his information? Short memories – I told you…..PSYCHOSIS.
Anyway, I’m sure from that small paragraph you’ll be able to determine my political leanings. What I’m most looking forward to from the weekend is the sport!!! And, I’ll be most looking forward to hearing about sport on the telly instead of some fat German running a party while wanted by the USA and being a total nuisance. Tonight the Roosters take on a quite brilliant Cowboys side to stay alive in what could be Sonny Bill Williams’ last game of league. I’m currently watching Canterbury trying to throttle a spirited Counties side in the ITM Cup. My Magpies defend the shield tomorrow against Bay of Plenty (I’ve said before it’s not really the real Bay…more an extended piece of curved coastline).
My simple psychotic brain can only really function on sports and I’ll be super-glad to have my totes-amaze balls sport politics free after the weekend. Don’t get me wrong, I’ll be voting but, faaaaaahk I’m sick of these muppets ruining my sporty time.
