There I was, sitting in the back of dad’s car driving to Auckland for a flight out to Brisbane. The flights from Napier were cancelled you see, due to fog. So a long day awaits. Anyway, while I was sitting there I couldn’t help but but wonder how many trucks/semis/lorries we would encounter. So as my brain carried on without my permission, I thought surely these trucks are carrying things. And, if these vehicles are carrying things, then people or organisations must want these things. So if there are so many trucks carrying things where is the financial crisis?
In England this week, the EPL clubs almost £1 billion on players. The NFL clubs are buying and selling players like crazy. The boys on the PGA Tour are playing towards an $11 million payday. Where oh where is the financial crisis? Surely there is no less money around. Are we just spooked into it by over zealous media types?
